The Rodman Scholars Program is looking for collaboration opportunities with corporations. Please contact
our Networking Chairs, Liz Dobrenz (aed2ph@virginia.edu) or Carolyn Pelnik (cep7pf@virginia.edu),
if your company is interested in working with the Rodman Program to coordinate internships, career fair
presentations, networking sessions, and more.
The Rodman Scholars Program hosts a speaker series in which employers
make
presentations to current Scholars, followed by chances to interact with
the students on a one-on-one basis. This is an opportunity toincrease
the visibility of your company to Rodman Scholars and provide students
with a platform to learn more about careers in industry and from the
experiences of current professionals. If your company is interested in
this opportunity please reach out to our networking chair so that we
can begin scheduling the event.
Rodman Council compiles the resumes of all current scholars onto a CD each year, and is happy to provide
your company with this information. If you are seeking a particular skill set or major for an internship we can
also put you in contact with students who may be interested in the opportunity.
The research fair is an opportunity for Rodman Scholars of all years to showcase their research and design
projects from first year initial dive projects, to independent
research, to capstone projects. 2 awards are given
at the end of the symposium. We would like to invite you to attend the 2011Rodman Research Fair which will
be held on April 18th.
