Devon won the 2009 Ingrid Soudek Townsend Prize for writing the best paper on the intersection of technology and society by a first-year student. His paper focused on the societal factors necessary for advancing renewable energy standards in the United States.
With experience in construction and a passion for sustainability, Devon plans to one day start his own high-efficiency design and building firm.
