Welcome to the Rodman Home Page

Introduction

The Rodman Scholars Program is the honors program for the University of Virginia School of Engineering and Applied Science. Founded in the mid 1980s, it is dedicated to the development of the skills that will be mostbeneficial to engineering students both during and after college. Each year, approximately 35 first year students are admitted to the program, based on both their academic achievements and their potential to contribute to the engineering school and the UVa community at large. This web site is intended to give an overview for those interested in the Rodman Scholars Program and to provide relevant information for current Rodman Scholars. If you have any questions regarding the program, please contact either Matt Fifer and/or Christina Stamper, Rodman Co-Presidents, or Dana Elzey, Rodman Scholars Program Director.

First years do not need to apply to the Rodman Scholars program; invitations to the Rodman Scholars Program are mailed at the same time as the U.Va Regular Admissions letters.
If you are in the midst of your first semester of your first year, there is an application process for the program. More information and application forms can be found here.
