Jack W. Davidson

Dr. Davidson has served on the University of Virginia faculty since 1982. He has published more than 90 technical articles and reports and has co-authored one textbook on C++ program design. He is a past associate editor of Transactions on Programming Languages and Systems, a member of the SIGPLAN Executive Committee, and co-general chair of the PACT 2002 (Parallel Architectures and Compilation Techniques). His professional affiliations include the Association of Computing Machinery and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
 
Research Interests
Jack Davidson's research interests include compilers, optimizers and computer architecture, with a particular focus on software development environments and architectures for embedded systems.
