J. Milton Adams
Professor, Biomedical Engineering

Dr. Adams has served on the faculty since 1978. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in biomedical engineering physiology, instrumentation, signal processing and circuit analysis. He also serves as the Vice Provost for the University of Virginia.
 
Research Interests
Milton Adams studies artificial hearts, cardiopulmonary engineering, control of breathing and a left ventricular assist device.
