Recognizing Our Donors
Charles E. McMurdo (EE ’29)
The Engineering School’s leadership in education and research is due, in large measure, to the generosity and support of our alumni and friends. SEAS faculty and students are grateful for those who continue to help the School through financial support and with gifts of time and involvement. Every gift matters.

Thornton Society
Named for the Engineering School's first dean, William Mynn Thornton, the Thornton Society honors alumni, parents and friends who annually provide leadership gifts to the Engineering School.
Donors qualify for membership by contributing $2,500 or more support to the School of Engineering and Applied Science during the fiscal year (July 1 - June 30). Those who have been out of school nine years or less qualify for Young Thornton Society with gifts of $1,000 or more. These donation amounts include any matching gifts that may be provided by your company.
Names of all SEAS donors are listed in the Honor Roll, which is published each fall.
