Advertising is a key consideration in event preparation. Ads can be used to alert and generate interest among a wider audience about an event and/or to increase attendance at the event.
You can place an ad by calling a publication and speaking with an account executive. Prices for a variety of ad sizes can usually be found on a publication’s Web site. You may find the following links helpful in gathering pricing information. Be sure to always mention that you are with the University of Virginia, however, as special discounts sometimes apply.

In addition, a chart like the one shown below can be useful in keeping pricing, dimensions, contacts, run dates and other details organized.
