The Engineering Science degree program at the University of Virginia offers the flexibility to pursue interests in areas which span the boundaries of traditional engineering disciplines or combine elements of engineering and science not currently possibly through other degree programs. This degree program prepares students for careers or graduate study in fields for which there are no established degree programs at the University of Virginia, such as applied materials science, nanotechnology, global engineering, mathematics, engineering physics, etc.
