PRE-COLLEGE PROGRAMS: High School Tutoring
As a part of our outreach to the community, the Center for Engineering Diversity provides tutoring for the local high schools in science, math and pre-engineering classes. This program is designed to target those who need additional assistance in technical classes. Our hope is to encourage students to pursue technical fields by helping them overcome difficulties in these classes. The University engineering students volunteer once a week to tutor students from 3:40 to 4:40, Mondays-Thursdays.
