Corporate Benefits
of the Industry Partners Program

Your relationship is important to us. We offer an opportunity that will specifically fit your university relations needs at the $5,000 and $7,500 levels.

$5,000 level

  • Provides you with greater access and a more effective relationship with students, faculty and SEAS staff through:
    • Opportunities to work directly with SEAS career development staff.
    • Free admission and booth space at the Engineering Career Day. You will have a choice of location with electrical power along with an adjacent table if needed.
    • Invitations for corporate representation on panels and speaking engagements in Engineering and at times across U.Va.
    • Video interviewing.
    • Recruiter-in-Residence program offering you the opportunity to participate in resume critiquing and mock interviews.
    • Assigned SEAS liaison/representative to facilitate corporate interaction with targeted departments and administrative offices.
    • Semi-annual jointly generated e-mail sent out to corporate alumni, U.Va. administrators, department chairs and students describing the partnership program, joint projects, summer internships, joint research and other interesting corporate engagements with SEAS and U.Va.
  • Brings corporate visibility and acknowledgement through:
    • Press release announcing the partnership.
    • Recognition on SEAS corporate Web site.
    • Recognition on Career Development’s Web site and a direct link from our Career Development Web page to your home page.
    • Recognition in career development handouts.

$7,500 level

The $7,500 level includes a “Corporate Day” at U.Va., an opportunity to interact with students in a high-traffic area to present company information, spark conversations, networking in a relaxed environment around coffee, bagels or donuts and booth space. We would publicize these events Grounds-wide, attracting interest beyond the SEAS student group. SEAS will publicize this event through the SEAS events calendar, targeted broadcast
e-mails to specific major(s) of your choice, targeted broadcast
e-mails to faculty of your choice, signage and a press release distributed to University and community news media.
