On-Grounds Interviewing is coordinated by University Career Services (UCS) using the CAVLink system which UVA. CAVLink is the scheduling system which uses an on-line database that holds full-time and internship positions submitted by recruiters. Students can view the positions on-line and submit their resumes only to companies in which they are interested. Employers pre-screen the resumes and select candidates they would like to interview. Currently, interviews are held in the sky-boxes in Scott Stadium.

During the two weeks of the Engineering Career Fairs (one week in February and the other in September), we are allotted a limited number of interview rooms in Bryant Hall by UCS to manage/allocate. We limit the number of rooms to two per company in order to make these rooms available to as many companies as possible (additional rooms may be requested by contacting UCS at 434-924-8901). Contact our office to reserve interview rooms during our Career Fairs by calling 434-924-3050 (after June for the September Fair, and after December for the February Fair).

In the event that the on-grounds interviewing program detailed above is booked to capacity or if it is late in the recruiting season, our office can help assist you in scheduling interviews. A classroom or conference room in the Engineering School may be used to conduct interviews (if space is available).
