08/18/2009: To accomodate the switch to the Self-service Online System the Bi-Weekly pay schedule will shift to a Monday-Sunday schedule. (The current schedule runs from Wednesday-Tuesday.)
The last bi-weekly pay schedule ending on a Tuesday will be Wednesday August 26, 2009 - Tuesday September 8th, 2009. Timesheets for this period are due by 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 8th, 2009.
Hours worked between Wednesday, September 9th and Sunday, September 13th, 2009, must be reported on the Hourly Timesheet for the pay-period from August 26-September 8. One must simply handwrite in his or her planned hours for the days from September 9-September 13 before they have been completed in the space provided on this timesheet. Again, this timesheet is to be turned in no later than 9:00 A.M. on September 8th.
AFTER, September 14th, 2009 (the start of the new online payment system) the Generic Blank Timesheet must be used for “retroactive” pay periods or late hours only. Any retroactive hours will be entered to the Generic Blank Timesheet from the SEAS hourly wage website, printed and then given to your timekeeper. The timekeeper will be responsible for obtaining a supervisory signature and the payment of the retroactive hours will be determined by the timekeeper. As soon as he or she can obtain a supervisory signature, the retroactice hours will be paid on the next possible active pay period.
07/02/2009:All Payroll Appointment Forms have been updated to accomodate the switch to the Self-service Online System. Please indicate the manager's name. This person's name needs to be placed on the employee's approval list for his or her hours worked. The manager is the individual who will receive the e-mail notice requesting that he or she approve the hours that the aforementioned employee recorded on his or her online timesheet. These changes are in accordance with the switch to the new online Self-Service timesheet system.
06/15/2009: All paid Employees must begin using the Self-service Online System to complete Direct Deposit forms for new hires and to update Direct Deposit forms for existing employees IMMEDIATELY. Self-service entries must be made within the same pay period you're working in order to affect that pay date. For example, if the entry is made within the current Bi-Weekly pay period (6/3-6/16/09), it will affect the pay date of 6/26/09. Also, if the entry is made within the current Semi-Monthly pay period (06/10/09-06/24/09), it would affect payment for this period of time and any periods following.
06/15/2009: Starting September 9th, 2009 the University will start its new payroll system. The 8th of September will be the last bi-weekly pay period, as well as last semi-monthly pay period.
06/15/2009: All UVA paid employees MUST start using the Self-service Online System to access their payment information. This system is each employee's personal source for updating and verifying their own payslip, timesheet and direct deposit, address and tax information.
07/11/2008: We are now using the new I-9 form with the expiration date of 06/30/09.
12/09/08: The Universtiy Financial Aid Application (UFAA) is now available for undergraduate students to complete
online through the Student Information System (SIS).

07/01/2008: The Commonwealth of Virginia's Workers' Compensation Commission has developed a new online reporting system for workers' compensation claims. 04/09/2008: The new University of Virginia Direct Deposit Authorization Form allows the user to deposit paychecks between two bank accounts. You can select a dollar amount or percentage of a paycheck to be deposited in each account. If you are a current University employee and you would like to use this form, you must attach a void check to the form.
08/10/07: There are two new systems for hiring employees: CAVLink and Jobs@UVA! CAVLink , which replaced HoosTrak, helps students find jobs within and outside the university. Jobs@UVA is the University's new online application system designed to hire faculty and staff. Instructions for posting jobs or hiring faculty and staff has been updated on the website.

04/30/07: When submitting retroactive hours using a blank timesheet, houly wage employees and their supervisors must fill out a Late Timesheet Admission Form . Attach your timesheet(s) to this form and submit forms to your timekeeper. For more information click here .
12/08/06: You will need to submit two timesheets on Friday, December 15th by noon . The first, your normal hourly wage timesheet, will reflect the days of December 6th through December 15th. The second, if you plan on working December 16th through December 19th, will be a blank timesheet.
11/08/06: Please submit your hourly timesheet for the days of November 8th through November 17th by noon on November 17th. 09/11/06: Updated information concerning research professional staff is now available. The salaray recommendation form is due no later than 10/20/2006 and the pay scale now reflects the current academic year.

06/19/06: Hourly timesheets for the Jun. 21th - Jul. 4th pay period may be submitted earlier if the supervisor is willing to approve pro-rated hours. Recommended date of submission is by July 3rd.
05/11/06: The Integrated System Self-Service menu is available to faculty, staff, and even student employees for updating personal information, banking information, and federal (W-4) withholding information (but not state [Va-4] withholding information). Students should remember to apply any changes of address into ISIS as well.
