The following forms are required in order to be placed on the payroll.
Foreign National Students

The Federal Law Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 (IRCA) requires that employers examine documents on all new (and any prior in the case of a lapse in employment of 6 months) employees. This is to verify identity, U.S. citizenship, or the authorization of aliens to be employed in the U.S. They are required to complete the form I-9 to attest to the verification. Also, valid forms of I.D. must be available for record photocopying.
- Tax Forms - Foreign National students must see a tax specialist at the Compliance and Immigration Services Office concerning tax forms

- Selective Service Compliance Form [PDF] - required for males only
Foreign National students must present the following to Phyllis M. Bibb in order for her to process payroll:
- A valid passport with visa and I-94
- A social security card - If you do not have a social security card, you must obtain one. You are required to have been in the United States for a minimum of ten days before applying for a social security card and you should allow the process to take up to three weeks. You will have to wait until you actually receive the card in the mail to be placed on the payroll. To apply please visit the Social Security Administration Office at the address listed below:
- As soon as you receive your Social Security card, you must take it (along with your other ID documents) to the University Registrar in order to convert your student ID number to your Social Security number. You must update your ID number in order to be paid correctly.
- I-20 or DS-2019
- A check or deposit slip from your U.S. bank to set up Direct Deposit. (Alternatively, if you only possess a debit card, you may note your banking information online.
