It is designed to be helpful to SEAS faculty, staff, students, and hiring officials. It details the qualifications and/or defines the different types of job categories. Most of the essential payroll / personnel forms may be found on this site, as well as the hourly wage timesheet and all other relevant information regarding hiring procedures and schedules. Announcements All paid Employees must begin using the Self-Service Online System to complete Direct Deposit forms for new hires and to update Direct Deposit forms for existing employees IMMEDIATELY. W-4 and Direct Deposit Forms: All employees, including students who are employees, should be using Employee Self-Service to make W-4 and Direct Deposit updates and first time entries on-line. Paper VA-4 forms are accepted as the Integrated System does not offer an online option for that form. Students who are “NOT” employees (but receiving a fellowship ONLY) should also be doing their direct deposit online using the new form located on the Student Accounts web site at www.virginia.edu/studentaccounts . New Compliance Procedure effective September 20th, 2010: As of this day paper I-9 forms will neither be available nor accepted. All new hires will be given the link to enter their personal data. The HR specialist will instruct the timing of the required employing documents. All Payroll Appointment Forms have been updated to accomodate the switch to the Self-Service Online System.
