Planning and Publicizing Events at U.Va.

Welcome to the event planning and publicity resource site for the U.Va. School of Engineering. Planning an event involves setting budgets, securing locations, creating publicity and more. The key is to start early. So, whether you are planning an event that will attract an internal Engineering School or U.Va. audience or an event that involves collaboration with non-University sponsors and is open to the public — or anything in between — this is your place to start.

This Web site is organized along a timeline to help you understand what must be done before, during and after each event you sponsor. If you don’t find the information you need here, visit our contact us page for information on reaching members of the marketing and communications team.
