CDE 2017 Summer Programs Announcement

Dear Parents and Students,

Thank you for your interest in STEM outreach programs for middle and high school students. We are excited to share with you that under the leadership of John F. Gates, Ph.D., the Associate Dean for Diversity and Engagement at the University of Virginia School of Engineering and Applied Science, we are in the process of reinventing all of our STEM outreach activities for current and prospective UVA Engineering students, including our summer programs. We anticipate offering new and exciting activities in summer of 2018. For the summer of 2017, we will continue to offer the Bridge Program for current high school seniors who have been accepted to the University of Virginia. Eligible students will receive further information from the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Students will be notified of the program particulars.

UVA Engineering is committed to diversity, which we define as excellence expressing itself through every person’s perspectives and lived experiences. Outstanding engagement with K-12 schools and our entire community are crucial to attracting young people to higher education and career opportunities in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

We would like to remain connected with you and keep you informed of future UVA Engineering events and programs, including future summer programs. To join our distribution list, please go to this link
